Karma

I guess Karma really exists.

After dropping off our car on Tuesday for repair, I went shopping (albeit no-money shopping), and hoped for a call to sub. It never came.

But, using JCP gift cards, Old Navy Bucks Back, and a refund check from a return, I found some great stuff, including a pair of absolutely perfect black maternity pants for 6 bucks, an adorable top in Dr. B's favorite colors that's really soft and comfy, looks cute on me and matches a bunch of stuff I already have, and a pair of PJ pants for him, and I only spent 5 dollars of my "real" money.

Then, I hit the motherlode.

I was walking through Marshall's, and I found these.

In my size.

For only 20 bucks.

Yeah, I think that was a big "Thank You" from God for the hit-and-run report.

Yippeeeeeee!!!

***Update: I still love these, but I have been cursed with really-freakin'-stinky feet, and chucks only last about a year for me before they become lethal weapons. No amount of washing, cotton socks, foot powders, soaking, or borax can even put a dent in the vicious odors that arise from my delicate tootsies.

(I hope Zizou gets Dr. B's feet. Minus the toe hair and athlete's foot, of course.)

Oooh, what a great color! Nice find! You always are lucky like that. I hoping my feet deflate soon so I can wear the chucks I bought while we were visiting Madison. They are sitting in the hallway waiting to be worn. I've only worn them twice since I've been home! Wah!

I hate to burst your bubble but I recall in my forties talking with gal friends while we sat at our backyard pool and discussing the nerve of Godd actually putting hairs on our toes.....HOW and WHEN did that happen??? alas it does...A. B Cute shoes. Jenn did same type of shopping last wk. She needed a casual dress for dinner our on Fr. Found a darling one at New York and Co. Kind of 60's look...she got it for $7 with the help of leftover giftcard, store credit and sale prices !! No too shabby...and she looked so great in it that night....I was chief babysitter.....paired it with some great jewelry and shoes and voila!

You should visit a QUALIFIED homeopath-good for pregnancy, and especially great treatment for very smelly feet (which is a symptom of much deeper "stuff" in your constitution). Honestly, you won't look back (good for back/knee injuries, too).
